The developer world usually gives no attention to small Android devices with less hardware specifications while rolling out new custom ROMs. It is usually because of the device's poor performance resulting from the low end hardware which makes it unfit for the newly released goodie.


Anyway, the Sony Xperia Tipo users seem to be a bit lucky to have an unofficial CyanogenMod 11 port which enables them to taste the very new Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. If you are a Xperia Tipo user who feels blessed with this released then thank, XDA senior member srl3gx for it.

The ROM being at it's primary phase cannot be given a daily driver label; the GSM, WiFi, camera, vold managed partitions and a lot more are still non-functional. The audio, Bluetooth, display & touch seems to work fine.

It was just a couple of months before when the Android 4.3 featuring HTC Sense 5.5 landed on the HTC One. The update along with the sense technology featured multitasking user interface, improved media player and provided you with the option to get rid of the blink feeds. Now the company has decided to provide the HTC One Mini users an OTA to Android 4.3.

The update, just like the one which came for HTC one brings all the features including Sense 5.5. It weighs 630.55 MB and takes the firmware version to 2.12.401.1. It seems that the update will be coming only for the European users at first and for the rest i'll be coming in a short while.
