AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Receives Bootstrap Custom Recovery
The very first choice of an Android user once the device gets rooted is to fetch a suitable custom recovery. Fortunately for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users, XDA Recognized Contributor Hashcode has baked up a recovery based on the bootstrap method.
Different from the normal custom recoveries, the bootstrap recovery doesn't touch the stock system and deals with another place on your device. The recovery which can be installed as an app creates up to two ROM slots in the eMMC area (SD card) which acts as a second system partition on the device. When this second slot is activated a TWRP based recovery flashes the needed files.
The recovery is in it's alpha and bugs can be expected. For the download instructions, visit the source thread at XDA.
